Our Mission:
To place an A-3 Skywarrior aircraft on static display at the Naval Air
Station Whidbey Island, as a memorial to those who flew it, those who
perished, and those who provided support for the aircraft and its
missions. The A-3 and its crews shall not be forgotten.

Important notices:
The underground storage tank at the Memorial Site
was removed on 26 March. The soil around the tank has been found to be
contaminated and it will be necessary for NAS Whidbey Island to clean
up the site before construction of the Memorial Site can resume.

*Due to this delay in
the site construction, we are resuming the Memorial Paver program.

 We are currently soliciting donations for the Skywarrior
Whidbey Memorial. All donations are tax deductible when made
through our parent organization the A-3 Association. You can
help us make this project a reality by sending your
donation today. Please print the donation form and mail it to
the address shown on it.

Due to the delay in construction
at the Memorial Site, we are able to take additional
orders for Individual Memorial Pavers which will be placed
along the walkway surrounding the A-3 Skywarrior static
display. Please note that the deadline for ordering these
pavers is 31 December 2013.

 We,
the members of the A-3 Skywarrior Whidbey Memorial
Foundation, are pleased and proud to announce that we have
received a $15,000 donation from Island Thrift toward
completing our A-3 Whidbey Memorial. This, with their
previous donation of $10,000, makes this local organization
in Oak Harbor, Washington, the single largest contributor to
date. Island Thrift is generous and conscientious about
supporting local history, Navy and Community activities. It
is hoped that when you are in Oak Harbor, whether you live
here or just visiting, that you would consider dropping by
